TULSA, Oklahoma – A nationwide nonprofit that helps kids and adults with down syndrome learn boxing skills has come to Green Country.

KETTERING — A local gym partnered with the Miami Valley Down Syndrome Association and “Down to Box,” a national non-profit, to offer fitness and boxing to children and adults in the Dayton area.
TITLE Boxing in Kettering launched the program and held their first classes today.
Children between the ages of 6 and 12 had class at 11 a.m. Another class was held at 12:15 p.m. for those 13 and older…
On June 13, Coach Jonathan Gainey, Co-Founder of Down to Box is completing a 70.3 distance race in place of his Ironman race that was cancelled due to COVID-19. As originally intended, he will be racing in honor of Down to Box and the boxers that we serve. Each mile, will be dedicated to a specific donor. Donors can choose which mile they’d like to sponsor by selecting one from this link.
